WORLD SERIES OF DRAG RACING

What:
The World Series of Drag Racing is the oldest continuous drag race in the World. NHRA professional drag racers in Nitro Funny Car and Top Fuel Dragster, along with numerous other categories will be on hand. In total, more than 70 professional teams will attend this historic event.

Where:
Cordova Dragway Park, Cordova, Illinois. Track is located 3 miles north on Highway Route #84; 10 miles north of I-80 exit No. 1.

When:
Friday thru Sunday, August 24-26, 2007. Sportsman and Professional racing on Friday and Saturday with the Sportsman Finale on Sunday.

Sportsman and professional racing schedule for the World Series:

Friday, August 24 -- Spectator gates open at 10 AM. Sportsman racing throughout the day. The Night of Thrills feature show at 7 PM.

Saturday, August 25 -- Spectator gates open at 9 AM. Sportsman racing throughout the day. The Pro Finale feature show at 7 PM.

Sunday, August 26 -- Spectator gates open at 9 AM. Sportsman World Series finale. (Rain date for Saturday professional show 1 PM)

Tickets:

Admission/Pit Pass -- $20 Friday, $35 Saturday. Children (6-12) $5 per day.
