ATTENTION WORLD SERIES SPORTSMAN RACERS 

We want to make all sportsman racers aware that we will be running a tight schedule at World Series of Drag Racing this weekend, Friday thru Sunday August 24-26, 2007.

Sportsman time trials are scheduled to begin Friday at 9 AM and we highly suggest competitors be at CDP and ready to run on Friday as that will be their best chance to get multiple time runs. Depending on car count, Friday eliminations will be underway as early as 2 PM.

On Saturday, time trials will be underway at 8 AM with first round of sportsman eliminations as early as 11:30 AM. "We want to serve notice that it is vitally important that everyone arrives early, as we cannot start our sportsman eliminations late" said Race Director JJ Koehler. "It's our goal to not be racing  after 12 midnight, but we need the cooperation from everyone to get this done" he concluded.

Friday, August 24, 2007
9 AM - Happy hour open sportsman time trials
10:30 AM - Time Trials by class sessions
2 PM - Sportsman Eliminations
7 PM - Night of Thrills Show
11 PM - Secure event
Note: Junior Dragster will run in with all other classes and will not be held.

Saturday, August 25, 2007 (Not all classes listed)
8 AM - Sportsman time trials by session (start with Jr Dragsters)
11:30 AM - Bracket Eliminations begin
1:30 PM - Super Comp Qualifying #1  
              Heartland Stock/SS Qualifying #1
              Frantic 14 Qualifying #1
7 PM - WS Pro Finale
12 Midnight - Secure event
Note: Should weather or oil downs be a factor, S/C, Heartland and Frantic 14 will be reduced to one session. Also note, sportsman racing will be included with the Pro Session after 7 PM.
