STRASBURG REPLACES KALIVODA IN
TOP FUEL AT 54th WORLD SERIES

Mike Strasburg will replace Brady Kalivoda in Top Fuel at the 54th World Series of Drag Racing on Saturday, August 25. Kalivoda who was originally scheduled to race at the Series, withdrew after his crew chief took over tuning responsibilities for Cory Mac. "It's been a difficult year in finalizing fuel cars as many teams have had change in plans" said Scott Gardner.

Strasburg brings his B&J Transmission Top Fuel Dragster to the Series for the first time. Strasburg has attended seven NHRA events in 2007 and has ran a career best of 4.51 at 330 mph. His most recent NHRA National event was July 29 at Sonoma, California where he qualified # 7. One of the strongest independent teams involved in professional drag racing, it is conceivable that Strasburg could re-set the Cordova Top Fuel record of 4.63.
