Low elapsed time in Top Fuel was made by Mike Strasburg in the B&J Transmission entry. On his first pass, he stopped the clocks at 4.725 at 296.37 mph. Looking to re-set the current track record of 4.60 on his second run the engine failed slowing his entry to a 5.04 at only 235 mph.
