DATE CHANGE FOR CEDAR FALLS NATIONAL OPEN
NEW DATE BETTER TO ACCOMMODATE RACERS

A new date in 2008 is set for the NHRA National Open at Cedar Falls Raceway. "We want to provide the best opportunity so the racers can attend" said NHRA Division 5 Director Rob Park. The new date is May 17-18, 2008. Attendees will receive NHRA grading points. Classes include Stock/SS, Super Gas, Super Street and Super Comp as well as ET Brackets. Currently, talks are also in progress for a Top Stock class. Qualifying for the NHRA classes will be on Saturday, with shoot-outs and ET Bracket eliminations on Saturday evening. Sunday will have NHRA classes and ET Brackets contested as well.
