DIETRICH DRIVES PINTO TO KING OF THE TRACK WIN
Race conditions continued to be a challenge with temperatures cool and very windy conditions that forced racing to be changed to a 1/8 mile format. It was Jim Dietrich who drove his Ford powered Pinto to a class championship in the Super ET category as well as the special NHRA King of the Track run-off for the coveted title. “Scoring a victory over nearly 200 other racers was pretty cool, mentioned Dietrich, especially stopping Brian Lynch in the final who is a heavy hitter in the Pro ET Class.” NHRA KING OF THE TRACK FINAL ROUND RESULTS |
