NITRO NOSTALIGA FUNNY CAR CLASS PURSES ANNOUNCED

(Tuesday, February 24, 2009) The purse for the Nitro Nostalgia Funny Car class to be contested at both the NostalgiaFest (June 26 & 27) and World Series of Drag Racing (August 28 & 29) events isbeing announced. "We have been working hard to secure the necessary sponsorship to increase the purse from the minimums" said Scott Gardner, "we hope to be able to add low E.T. and Top Speed awards as well" he continued.

Qualifying at each event will be in two sessions. At each event the Friday evening qualifying session will "seat" four cars with the balance of the field being filled fromthe Saturday session. The "VRA" rules will be followed.

2 qualifying runs available (Friday evening and early Saturday afternoon), but your not required to run both.
