FORECAST PROVIDES HOPE FOR
HANGOVERFEST - SAT. JAN. 1st
With temperatures expected to rise into the 40's and 50's by weeks end, the odds to race New Years Day (HangoverFest) is improving. "As mentioned before, it's all in the forecast and our ability to get the snow and ice cleared off the track, in the lanes and pit area" mentioned Scott Gardner.
As of Monday, December 27 it's all systems go. as plans are being made to begin snow removal by mid week. "If the snow can be moved away and the surface is clean and dry we then will race Saturday" continued Gardner. Because of the sheer volume of snow it's likely racing will be held to 1/8 mile format and will be open for street legal vehicles only as safety is and remains an important factor for any race.
