NHRA Jr. Drag Racing League
Western Conference Finals

As the NHRA Jr. Drag Racing League runs through its 19th season, we are preparing for the NHRA Western Conference Finals -- once again at Bandimere Speedway in Denver.  The staff and management of that beautiful facility, as always, are excited to welcome Jr. families from all over the Western United States and Canada.

Please note that the event is earlier in the season, July 8-10, having moved from its traditional spot at the end of July because of changes to the NHRA Full Throttle Series schedule.

As an NHRA Member Track we are entitled to send three teams of 10 cars each (30 cars maximum) to Denver.  Tracks in divisions 4, 5, 6, and 7 are eligible to send cars to Denver.  A driver may only compete at one of the two Conference Finals.

For the first time, racers will enter the event online on the Bandimere Speedway website www.bandimere.com. That site should go live in the next few days.  The entry is to be filled out and submitted along with applicable fees as indicated.  When the entry link is available, it will be listed with schedules and other information already posted on the NHRA.com website under the Jr. Drag Racing League link.  Or go directly to: http://jrdragster.nhra.com/cfschedules.  Entry deadline is July 1.

In addition to that, the participating NHRA Member Track management MUST, as in the past, submit a ROSTER ONLINE at: http://jrdragster.nhra.com/jrwest/  The roster deadline is June 8, 2010.

If you are interested in attending you must let your track manager know as soon as possible.

Once the roster is submitted, subsequent additions, subtractions or changes can be made online.

Because of the requirement for medical certification, it is no longer possible to renew NHRA Jr. Drag Racing League Participant status at Bandimere Speedway during the Western Conference Finals.  So please, Jr racers have your memberships renewed and your Participant Member cards in your possession before you leave for Denver.  Remember that your NHRA Membership and Participant cards may expire on different dates.  If you have any questions call NHRA and ask for the Field Office before you leave for Denver.

We will arrange for one or more of our qualified tech inspectors to conduct an Extended Tech Inspection (ETI) on your team cars.  It will make your experience in Denver much more enjoyable because you won't have to wait
in long tech lines.

Make sure your parents read the registration form for auxiliary pit vehicles on the website and check the agreement box.  They will get one pit vehicle registration free with each entry.  Any others will be charged a fee as outlined on the form.  This policy reflects procedure at all NHRA events
