If you have been waiting for the right time to attend an event at Cordova Dragway (or any outdoor venue for that matter), it is time. The forecast is spectacular with temperatures predicted to be in the low to mid 80’s throughout the event.

“Action is the key word for this event” said Scott Gardner. “We have the most spectacular event in the County with all the best features out there.” Included in the line-up is the wild, mind blowing Extreme Machine Jet Semi, the Chattanooga Cho-Cho, the Cannonball Express and the Rock-n-Roll Thunder Jet Cars and more.

The O’Reilly Auto Parts World Series of Drag Racing is also very well known for the Nitro action. Those cars include the DRO Nostalgia Funny Cars presented by Lucas Oil, the NHRA AA-Funny Cars, the NHRA Top Fuel Dragsters and the Nostalgia Top Fuel cars as well.

Of course national racing legend and local standout Arnie “The Farmer” Beswick from Morrison, Illinois will also be back to take on Animal Jim, the Shake, Rattle and Run ’57 Chevy and the Grocery Getter. Plus the Super Stock Mafia with their wheelstanding factory hot rods plus Nostalgia Super Stocks will be on hand.

The popular Paddy Wagon and Chevy Rebellion Wheelstanders will make their full quarter-mile passes on two wheels plus a spectacular Fireworks display.
