CDP POINTS POLICY

1. Any racer may join the points program at Cordova Dragway Park. A racer must join by the cut off date set by the track. A racer must be a points member to race at the Bracket Team Finals and to receive year end points fund monies.

2. A racer earns points - 10 pts for entering and 10 pts for each round win. The winner of each race will earn 2 additional points and the runner-up will earn 1 additional point. Some races have bonus points & will be notated in the schedule.

3. No Team drivers allowed.

4. Once a class has been declared you may not transfer points between classes.

5. If a points member is not able to attend a points race, they may use a vacation voucher (see next rule) In addition, the lowest score of the 14 race series will be dropped for all points member competitors.

• A vacation voucher is good for 1 race (excluding the final points race of the season)
• FREE with pts membership
• Voucher is worth 20 points
• Voucher points cannot be used in conjunction with breakage during competition.
• A racer cannot be entered into their normal points class and then withdraw and use a voucher.
• A racer can’t race in his points class at an event, go out early, then submit a voucher.
• A racer can’t submit a voucher, then race that event in his points class.
• A Voucher cannot be used with a rain-out.
• A Voucher is only good for the class that the racer declares he is running in the points series.

Points Membership Program ~Team Green

Points will be awarded to members in Super Pro, Pro ET, Super ET, True Street, Pro Bike and Junior Dragster classes. The enrollment fee is $60 per entry and $30 for Juniors. Thirtysix (36) entries plus four high school entries will represent CDP at The NHRA Division Team Bracket Finals in Topeka, KS on Sept 17-20. The points standings through Sept 12th (Pts Race #12) will determine the qualifiers for the team. The team composition will be determined from memberships on a per class basis. Juniors have a separate race. Enrollment includes eligibility for the cash points fund, and if you qualify and attend the bracket finals you will get your entry fee returned, receive a Team shirt, and Team party and all the fun you can stand.
